- Investiture (Inauguration Ceremony - Hybrid). University Life will be celebrating on the South Lawn (in front of Butler Library). No registration required. Stop by for swag and light refreshments! - Financial Resource Tutorial for International Students (In-Person). Join Student Financial Services, University Life, and the International Students and Scholars Office to ask questions and review the budgeting and finance resources available to you as a Columbia student. Bring your laptop with you. Drop by 1:00 - 2:30 PM on Thursday, October 12. Register here.
- Social Justice Mini-Grant Program. Apply for the Social Justice Mini-Grant Program and share your innovative ideas to address social injustices, including efforts to bring awareness to racial, economic, accessibility, and educational inequities. Learn more and apply by November 7.
- Yoga Class (In-Person). Religious Life invites you to take a break and relax with yoga in Earl Hall. Please bring your own mat and arrive 10 minutes early to sign in and set up. Doors close at 7:05 PM. Thursdays, 7:00 - 8:00 PM. Learn more.

- The Power of Bystanders (Virtual). Join Sexual Violence Response (SVR) at this workshop to explore how you can intervene as a bystander and create a campus culture of sexual respect. This event fulfills the Sexual Respect component. Tuesday, October 10, 2:00 - 3:30 PM. Register here.
- Responding to Disclosures (Virtual). Learn how to respond if a peer or loved one discloses that they've experienced harm. This workshop is hosted by Sexual Violence Response (SVR). This event fulfills the Sexual Respect component. Tuesday, October 10, 5:30 - 7:00 PM. Register here.
- Being Latine at Columbia (In-Person). Join us for a conversation on Latine identity and how it affects the work of four panelists from different disciplines across the University. Sponsored by the Institute of Latin American Studies, the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement, and University Life. This event fulfills the Inclusion & Belonging component. - Film Screening: My Name Is Andrea (In-Person). Watch My Name Is Andrea, a documentary about feminist icon Andrea Dworkin. - October Narrative Medicine Rounds (Virtual). The Department of Medical Humanities and Ethics invites you to its Narrative Medicine Rounds, hosting acclaimed author and psychiatrist Judith L. - Velocity: Columbia’s Ride to End Cancer. Participate in a bike-riding fundraiser to support patient care and research at Columbia’s Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center (HICCC). The registration fee is waived and the fundraising minimum is $250 for Columbia students with code: STUDENT23. Register by this Friday, October 6.
- Climate and Clean Energy Policy in the Post-Inflation Reduction Act World (In-Person) Learn about the impact of The Inflation Reduction Act on private investment and public policy and how the act will continue to shape climate change and our world.
