January 29, 2018 - I think we can all relate to the need to slow down, at least every once in a while, and that taking steps, whether by sitting, walking or just taking a deep breath, can make a real difference in how we feel. Wellness Days at Columbia provide a jumpstart, with many paths for fun, relaxation and learning.

January 17, 2018 - Columbia has teamed up with the World Health Organization to do a University-wide survey this spring of all students on campus climate and student well-being. Apply now to be a student leader of the survey team. 

DACA Update: Window to Apply for Renewals

January 17, 2018 - On January 13, 2018 the Department of Homeland Security announced it will resume the application renewal process for DACA students. In light of this announcement and the rapid pace of DACA developments, we encourage students with DACA to apply for renewal as soon as possible.

Columbia Joins Friend of the Court Brief on International Travel Ban

December 18, 2017 - Columbia is among 31 colleges and universities arguing in a friend of the court brief that international students, faculty and staff are vital to their institutions and the world, and that Presidential Proclamation No. 9645 -- the third presidential order banning nationals of Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S. -- contradicts the freedom of religion and equality embodied in the First and Fourteenth Amendments.

Columbia Joins Friend of the Court Brief in Support of DACA Students

December 18, 2017 - Columbia is one of 18 universities in a friend-of-the-court brief warning of the consequences of rescinding Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
