  • Apply to Become a University Life Ambassador 2024-25! Passionate about building community at Columbia? As a University Life Ambassador, you can help promote a welcoming, inclusive environment for all Columbia students. Apply by Wednesday, July 3.
  • Calling All Student DJs! Are you interested in being a DJ for one of Columbia's largest annual student events? Showcase your skills for the Columbia community at this year’s Low-Lapalooza: Silent Disco. Apply by Sunday, July 14.
  • Want to Work with Us? University Life is hiring two Graduate Assistants to support our student events and promote a welcoming and inclusive campus. Learn more.
  • Apply to Join the University Life Events Council 2024-25! Be a part of shaping the events and activities that connect students across Columbia. We are now accepting applications for next year’s University Life Events Council on a rolling basis. Apply here.

  • CUIMC Women in Science Lecture Series (In-Person). Join the CUIMC community for the Women in Science Lecture Series featuring Donna Farber, PhD and Despina Kontos, PhD. A reception will follow. Thursday, June 27, 4 - 5:15 p.m. Register here.
  • After War: Mental Health Effects and Healing Approaches (Virtual). This panel focuses on the profound psychological impact of war, the challenges inherent in providing mental health support in war-torn regions, and strategies for overcoming barriers to care. Hosted by Columbia Global Centers. Thursday, June 27, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Register here. 
  • NYC Pride March with Columbia Alumni (In-Person). Columbia Pride invites all LGBTQIA+ Columbians and allies to join us in the annual tradition of marching in the NYC Pride March. Sunday, June 30, 12 - 6 p.m. Register here. 
  • Volunteer on Broadway. This summer, Community Impact and Broadway Community invite you to participate in a culinary service opportunity. You can work alongside Community Lunch's head chef to prepare meals for neighbors in the Morningside Heights community, serve food, and/or support its food pantry operations. Various dates and times.
