Commencement Shout Outs - Submit by 3/26!
Commencement is right around the corner! Whether you're graduating or celebrating a friend, we’re collecting stories of the people who have made your time at Columbia meaningful. Send us videos that are 15 seconds or less, filmed vertically on your phone or computer. Submit your story by March 26th for consideration. Select videos will be used in this Spring's commencement ceremony!

- CU Service Showcase. Join the University Life Events Council and Community Impact for a showcase of current service projects around the University community. - Procrastination Workshop: If You Wait 'til the Last Minute, It’ll Only Take a Minute. Join Alice! Health Promotion and University Life for a conversation about procrastination to better understand it and develop actionable strategies to manage your time. Thursday, 3/25, 4:00-5:00 PM. - Night at Butler: The School of Magic Virtual Escape Game. Join the University Life Events Council and Columbia Libraries for the third annual Night at Butler, virtual edition! In this online escape game, you'll work with your team to solve puzzles and decipher codes. Create a team with friends or join the fun as an individual and meet new friends. Now through 3/27. - Apartment-Friendly Fitness Class. Get moving with a fun virtual apartment-friendly fitness class, led by PEREC instructor Elise! Equipment-free total conditioning class that may include HIIT circuits, calisthenics, core strength, agility drills, and more. All fitness levels are welcome. Tuesday, 3/30, 9:30-10:30 AM. - Support Space for Female-Identified Students. This workshop from Columbia Health provides support and a safe space to talk about the impact of the recent shootings in Atlanta as well as other forms of violence and aggression directed towards women. - Racing with Vaccines: Data, Narratives, and Ethics. In this conversation, faculty from SPS’s Bioethics, Narrative Medicine, and Applied Analytics programs consider how our society can use data to understand complex information and make equitable decisions, particularly in the case of COVID-19.
