All events listed below are in Eastern Time (ET), free, and open to all students across all schools and campuses.

  • Virtual Office Hours with Case Management and Student Support (Virtual). Got questions about campus services or need help finding community resources? Drop into office hours for a one-on-one chat with a CSSI Case Manager. Whether it's basic needs, resource navigation, or goal-setting, CSSI is here to help all students.   • Navigating Complex Times (In-Person). Join the School of Social Work for a guided conversation to explore our emotions, shifts within ourselves and our relationships, and how to hold space for complexity – individually and collectively.   • Yoga Class (In-Person). Take a break and relax with yoga in Earl Hall, hosted by Religious Life. Please bring your own mat and arrive 10 minutes early to sign in and set up! Thursday, May 1, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Learn more.
  • Families: Exploring Traditions and New Trends (In-Person). This discussion will explore changing social norms around marriage and family, focusing on social, economic, cultural, and environmental influences. Reflect on personal and cultural experiences and share perspectives in a supportive, mindful space. This event is part of the Campus Conversations initiative.   • University Citizenship During Challenging Times: Perspectives, Expectations, and Realities (In-Person). Come ready to share how members of Columbia’s diverse community can help foster citizenship on campus. This discussion will reflect on different perspectives and expectations.   • Sacred Music Concerts (Hybrid). Join Religious Life for this free, weekly concert series in St. Paul’s Chapel. Learn more and register for an upcoming concert.
  • Become a 2025 - 2026 University Life Ambassador. Passionate about building community at Columbia? As a University Life Ambassador, you can help promote a welcoming and inclusive environment for all Columbia students across our four campuses (Morningside, CUIMC, Manhattanville, and Lamont) and be a part of the many events and initiatives University Life offers.   • The Food Pantry at Columbia: Student Leadership Board Openings. The Food Pantry serves all currently registered students across all Columbia schools, colleges, and affiliates.   • Wear Denim on Denim Day and Connect with SVR (Hybrid). Join us for Denim Day 2025—online or in person—to stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence. Wearing denim sends a powerful message: there’s no excuse for assault.   • New Latin American Music for Solo Piano, with Joel Sachs (In-Person). As part of Carnegie Hall’s Nuestros Sonidos festival, renowned new-music champion Joel Sachs presents a vibrant program of contemporary works from Latin America.   • Pop-Up Concerts: JACK Quartet - "Escape Rites" by Austin Wulliman (In-Person). The JACK Quartet returns to the Miller stage to highlight one of their own: Austin Wulliman—an in-demand violinist, highly regarded educator, and accomplished composer. Tuesday, May 6, 6:00 p.m. Register here
  • Walking Tour Along Riverside Drive, from 86th-107th Streets (In-Person). Join Stephanie Azzarone, author of the award-winning book, Heaven on the Hudson: Mansions, Monuments, and Marvels of Riverside Park, and a licensed New York City tour guide, for a tour along Riverside Drive.   • Listening Tables Spring Reception (In-Person). Celebrate a year of Listening Tables at Earl Hall. Reconnect with friends, past hosts, and the special community that has been built together since last fall.
