  • Legacy of New York – Visit to the Tenement Museum (In-Person). Explore the Tenement Museum on the Lower East Side, honoring the women who labored to build better lives for themselves and their communities in early 20th-century NYC. *Registration for this event has reached capacity.   • Yoga Class (In-Person). Take a break to relax and refresh with yoga in Earl Hall. Please bring your own mat and arrive 10 minutes early to set up; doors close at 6:35 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Register here.
  • Success Workshop: The Art of Public Speaking (In-Person). Practice your public speaking skills in this interactive workshop meant to build confidence, clarity, and maximum engagement. Light refreshments included. Monday, March 30, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Register here
  • Getting Around New York City (Online). Learn how to navigate the city with a workshop hosted by CSSI. Learn about the best transportation options on- and off-campus, including options like OMNY, Citi Bike, and Fair Fares. Monday, March 30, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Register here
  • Community Impact(ED) (In-Person). Join Community Impact for a panel on housing policy in New York City featuring leading public policy experts. Light bites and refreshments to follow. Tuesday, March 31, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Register here
  • Plein Air: Painting in Nature (In-Person). Spend a Friday morning painting in the open air in Central Park’s Conservatory Garden among the tulips and cherry blossoms! All materials will be provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own supplies. Friday, April 10, 10:00 - 1:00 p.m. Register here
  • Earth Month Park Cleanup & Picnic: Fort Tryon (In-Person). Celebrate Earth Day with our park cleanup series! Help keep Fort Tryon beautiful and enjoy a morning of service and relax with new friends with a picnic in the park. Saturday, April 11, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Register here
  • Paws & Pause (In-Person). Recharge with therapy dogs and a variety of calming activities while supporting NYC animal shelters and hospitals. Make upcycled dog toys, paint succulent pots and pet rocks, enjoy tea with light bites, and more.   • Leadership Week (Hybrid). Sign up for a Leadership Week workshop, happening April 6–10! This cross-campus series features 13 workshops to choose from and offers a chance to build both your interpersonal and professional skills, with sessions focused on communication, conflict resolution, community-building, and more. Learn more.
  • Sacred Music Concerts (Hybrid). Join Religious Life’s free, weekly concert series in St. Paul’s Chapel. Various dates and times. Learn more
  • CSSI Ops: Online Puzzle Search (Online). To help you finish the semester strong, The Center for Student Success and Intervention (CSSI) is offering an interactive online scavenger hunt to connect you with resources, support services, and important policies.   • Webinar: Recommendations for Active Shooter Incidents (Online). Public Safety is hosting a series of active shooter preparedness webinars on Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. throughout the remainder of the spring semester. Times Vary. Register here.

  • Class Matters: Economic Disadvantage, Diversity, and Democracy (In-Person). Join the Constitutional Democracy Initiative for a book talk with Richard Kahlenberg on Class Matters, a powerful argument for a class-based approach to college admissions that redefines how we pursue justice and diversity.   • Composer Portraits: Chinary Ung (In-Person). Listen to Chinary Ung, the first American composer to win the Grawemeyer Award, perform the sounds of Cambodian folk traditions with contemporary classical techniques. Thursday, March 26, 7:30 p.m. Register here. 
  • Glories of the Japanese Music Heritage XVII (In-Person). The Institute for Japanese Cultural Heritage Initiatives and Miyagi Koto Ensemble present a concert featuring works by Michio Miyagi to celebrate 20 years of the Institute’s Japanese Heritage Music Initiative.   • Visit the Center for Veteran Transition and Integration. The Center for Veteran Transition and Integration (CVTI) offers space and programming to support student veterans and military-connected students as they move from service into academic life and beyond.
