  • Apply to Join the University Life Events Council 2024-25! Be a part of shaping the events and activities that connect students across Columbia. We are now accepting applications for next year’s University Life Events Council! Extended Deadline: Apply by Sunday, June 2.
  • Apply to Become a University Life Ambassador 2024-25! Passionate about building community at Columbia? As a University Life Ambassador, you can help promote a welcoming, inclusive environment for all Columbia students. Extended Deadline: Apply by Sunday, June 9.

All events below are in Eastern Time, free of charge, and open to all students  unless otherwise noted.

  • Revealing Health Disparities to Inform Policy and Intervention (In-Person). Join the Mailman School of Public Health Department of Epidemiology for a lecture featuring Sarah McKetta, ScM, MD, PhD, who will discuss the importance of quantifying health disparities to better address them. Wednesday, May 29, 3 - 4 p.m. Register here. 
  • Public Affairs and Sustainable Futures (In-Person). This conversation explores how public policy is shaping sustainable infrastructure design, finance for renewable energy, and our collective future. Wednesday, June 5, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Register here. 
  • Manhattanville Community Day (In-Person). Swing by the Manhattanville campus for free samples from local restaurants, film screenings, interactive science and art activities, and so much more. This family-friendly event is open to the public. Saturday, June 8, 12 - 4 p.m. Register here. 
  • Book Launch: Making Climate Tech Work, Policies that Drive Innovation (In-Person). Which policies have effectively reduced carbon emissions and accelerated climate technology development and adoption? Explore this question with Columbia Climate School. Monday, June 10, 6 - 8 p.m. Register here.
