- Volunteer on Broadway (In-Person). This summer, Community Impact and Broadway Community invite you to participate in a culinary service opportunity. You can work alongside Community Lunch's head chef to prepare meals for neighbors in the Morningside Heights community, serve food, and/or support its food pantry operations. Various dates and times. - Why They Blow the Whistle: Exposing Abuses to Human Research Subjects (Virtual). Explore the positive impact whistleblowers make by exposing abuse and understand the negative repercussions they at times face in the process. Hosted by the School of Professional Studies Bioethics Program. Thursday, July 11, 4:30 - 5:45 p.m. Register here.
- Music Monday & Films at The Forum present "Wattstax"(In-Person). Enjoy this screening of the concert film Wattstax at The Forum. This film documents the 1972 benefit concert featuring performances by Isaac Hayes, Rufus and Carla Thomas, the Staples Singers, and many other greats. - Mock Seminar: Reading NYC at War (In-Person). Through literature and discussion, explore how various wars have impacted New York. This event is the first in a series hosted by the Center for Veteran Transition and Integration. Wednesday, July 17, 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Register here.
