As the academic year comes to an end, check out these upcoming events for a chance to unwind and relax.

University Life Events & Opportunities

  • Become a University Life Ambassador! Passionate about building community at Columbia? As a University Life Ambassador, you can help create a more welcoming and inclusive campus for all Columbia students. Apply by June 2.
  • Apply to be a Student Navigator. Interested in supporting peers going through the University's conduct process? Student Conduct Navigators answer procedural questions and serve as a point of contact for students going through the conduct process. Apply by Monday, May 15. Learn more.
  • Reminder: Update Your Voter Registration. CU Engage encourages all graduating students and all students leaving campus for the Summer semester to update their voter registration to match any new or forthcoming addresses. You can visit ALLINtoVote.org/Register to update your information. It only takes a few minutes to be #VoteReady for the 2023 local and state elections. Register here.
  • Study Days (In-Person). Religious Life will open the Earl Hall Auditorium and provide tea, snacks, and a study space. TODAY, May 9 - Thursday, May 11. Times vary. Learn more.
  • Baccalaureate Service (In-Person). Religious Life invites degree candidates from all undergraduate schools to attend the annual Baccalaureate Service, a multi-faith service celebrating the completion of your undergraduate academic career. Social Justice Mini-Grant Events

  • Art Work: The Journey From Curation to Development and the Changing Cultures in Making Art (In-Person) Join Liz Peterson, ARTS’23, and panelists, Eric Emauni and Zuri Washington for a discussion about the movement for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the performing and visual arts. Happening Around Campus 

  • Peace & Presence: Gentle Yoga Flow (In-Person). Join Columbia Health Sexual Violence Response (SVR) for a gentle yoga flow incorporating slow stretching and breathing exercises. The session will close with a guided meditation. Wednesday, May 12, 3:00 - 4:00 PM. Register here.
  • Peace & Presence: Journal & Flow (Virtual). This workshop hosted by Columbia Health Sexual Violence Response (SVR) will guide you through journaling exercises and a gentle yoga practice. Monday, May 15, 5:30 - 6:30 PM. Register here.
  • Manhattanville Community Day: Spring 2023 (In-Person). Join Columbia Neighbors for a family-friendly, fun-filled day on the Manhattanville campus. This event will include food samples, kids film and workshops, live music and more. Saturday, May 20, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Learn more.
