Join an Upcoming Campus Conversation
Campus Conversations is a dialogue-based program from University Life, led by graduate students, designed to bring students together across differences. All students are welcome.

  • Surviving the Journey of Adulthood (In-Person). Chat with fellow graduate students to support and build community for each other during transitional life moments. This conversation is an open space for students to share, reflect, and lean on one another. Thursday, March 26, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Register here
  • Being Transgender in Today's Political Climate (In-Person). Public conversations about transgender identities have become increasingly visible in today’s social and political climate.   • Mindfulness Workshop: Pause, Breathe, Reset (In-Person). Attend a morning self-care workshop at Dear Mama Cafe, led by Jamie Olivieri, LMFT. Enjoy breakfast and a session featuring guided reflections, small-group conversations, and strategies centered on emotional awareness, stress management, and burnout prevention.   • Legacy of New York – Visit to the Tenement Museum (In-Person). Explore the Tenement Museum with University Life on the Lower East Side, honoring the women who labored to build better lives for themselves and their communities in early 20th-century New York City.   • Success Workshop: The Art of Public Speaking (In-Person). Practice your public speaking skills in this interactive workshop meant to build confidence, clarity, and maximum engagement. Light refreshments included. Monday, March 30, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Register here
  • Getting Around New York City (Online). Learn how to navigate the city with a workshop hosted by CSSI. Learn about the best on-campus transportation and on-campus and off-campus options like OMNY, Citi Bike, and the Fair Fares discounted MetroCard program.   • Help Paws & Pause – Donate Fabric Scraps for Dog Toys (In-Person). Donations accepted through April 9. Calling all animal lovers! We’re collecting clean cotton fabric scraps (old t-shirts, socks, and denim) to make dog toys for NYC shelters. Drop off your donations in Kent 202 and be sure to save the date for our spring study break event, Paws & Pause, happening on April 13 (registration coming soon)! Learn more
  • Sacred Music Concerts (Hybrid). Join Religious Life’s free, weekly concert series in St. Paul’s Chapel. Various dates and times. Learn more
  • Yoga Class Update: Religious Life’s weekly yoga class is taking a brief pause and will resume on March 26th. We look forward to practicing together again soon!

  • Opening Reception. Light and Whispers: Images and Poems from Poland (In-Person). Explore the opening reception of the exhibit Light and Whispers: Images and Poems from Poland, featuring works from photographer Grzegorz Lityński and poet Barbara Gruszka-Zych.   • The Prof. Dan Miron Lecture in Hebrew Literature with Ilana Szobel (In-Person). Listen to Professor Ilana Szobel discuss the emergence of the Israeli tradition of poetry written by disabled women, focusing on the poetic works of Orit Marton and Inbal Eshel Cahansky.
