- Community Connections: Letter to My Future Self (BHM Celebration) (In-Person). Pause, reflect, and imagine what’s ahead. Join this creative, contemplative space to write a letter to your future self—exploring who you are now and who you’re becoming. All students are welcome. Join The Graduate Initiative and Columbia Health Disability Services for an interactive discussion on navigating disability disclosure conversations. With practical strategies and tools, this workshop will help you approach conversations with faculty, employers, and other professionals with confidence and clarity. - Legacy of New York – Chinatown Walking Tour (In-Person). Discover the stories of Chinatown on a guided walking tour through the Legacy of New York series, highlighting the history, culture, and resilience of the Chinese American community in NYC. - Frida Kahlo: Make Your Own Identity Portrait (In-Person). Explore the history and legacy of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo as you create a painting celebrating your identity. - Letters to SAGE – Love is Love (In-Person). We’re partnering with SAGE to celebrate LGBTQIA+ elders in the Bronx and Brooklyn. Stop by to write a letter of appreciation, connect across generations, and learn about the history of marriage equality and LGBTQIA+ rights worldwide. - Grad Hangout: Art of the Vogue (In-Person). Category is: confidence, creativity, and community! - Johann Heinrich Schmelzer’s “Sonatae unarum fidum” (Hybrid). Experience an intimate concert for violin, cello, and harpsichord celebrating one of the Baroque era’s most legendary violin virtuosos.
