- Unpacking the Man Box: Reimagining Masculine Norms. Join Sexual Violence Response in conversation with experts in the field of men’s engagement around thriving masculinities, the anti-violence movement and male-identified survivorship. Wednesday, 4/14, 4:00 - 5:30 PM. Register here.
- Peace and Presence: Movement Medicine. These webinars are a virtual setting for survivors and co-survivors to move from their headspace into full-bodied presence through awareness of breath, gentle stretches and guided/free movement. - Telling Stories: Medicine and Institutional Racism. This event, co-sponsored by the Department of Medical Humanities and Ethics and the Institute for Comparative Literature and Society, is a part of the “Medical Humanities and Pandemic Urbanisms” series and features speakers Bettina Judd (Gender, Women and Sexuality, University of Washington) and Raymond Givens (Internal Medicine, Columbia University). - Thematic Discussion Series: Combating Anti-AAPI Hate and Violence. In this session from Columbia Global Centers, Professor Qin Gao of the School of Social Work will present findings from her recent survey of over 400 Chinese Americans in New York City. - We Have to Reimagine: Conversation About Anti-Asian Racism/Violence. This interdisciplinary panel, sponsored by the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement and the Committee on Equity and Diversity in Arts and Sciences, will address the historical roots and current manifestations of anti-Asian racism and violence in our collective efforts to reimagine.
