Dear Students,
We hope you’ll join us for Self Compassion: Why It Matters and How to Build a Practice, happening next Wednesday, February 1st from 12:00 - 1:30 PM. During this workshop, Aisha Holder, PhD will discuss the building blocks of self-compassion and lead participants in exercises they can use to practice self-compassion in their daily lives. This event is co-sponsored by University Life and Columbia Health.

Columbia University & Chile: A Century of Innovation & Collaboration
(Hybrid) At this event, Columbia Global Centers and the Institute of Latin American Studies will honor the legacy of Karen Poniachik, pioneer and advocate for women's rights in Chile and founding director of Columbia Global Centers who passed away in October 2022. Social Impact Fellowship
- Columbia World Projects invites rising juniors and seniors at Columbia College, the School of General Studies, the School of Engineering and Applied Science, and Barnard College to apply for the Social Impact Fellowship, a fully funded, five-week summer program, and an academic-year engagement with thought leaders and innovators.
