Welcome Home Columbia
- Pin Your Columbia Pride (In-Person). Design your own school-spirit themed button and enter our button design competition for a chance to win University Life swag. Tuesday, January 17, 5:00 - 6:00 PM. Register here.
- Financial Well-being: Q&A Session (Virtual). Student Financial Services is partnering with University Life to answer your questions about financial aid, budgeting, and University resources. - LGBTQ+ Affinity Space (In-Person). This affinity space aims to bring LGBTQ+ students and their allies together to network, engage and socialize. All students are welcome. Wednesday, January 18, 4:00 - 5:00 PM. Register here.

- Disability Affinity Space (In-Person). This affinity space is for students with disabilities and their allies to come together to network, engage and socialize. All students are welcome. Thursday, January 19, 4:00 - 5:00 PM. Register here.
- Yoga Class (In-Person). Take a break to relax with yoga in Earl Hall, hosted by Religious Life every Thursday. Please bring your own mat and arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign in and set up. Thursday, January 19, 7:00 - 8:00 PM. Learn more.

- Day of Service: Free Minds Poem Review (In-Person). Meet and connect with Poet Ambassadors from Free Minds Book Club to read and offer feedback on poems written by incarcerated and formerly incarcerated youth and young adults. Writing and Scholarship Opportunities
- Obama Foundation Scholars Program. Columbia World Projects is now accepting applications and nominations for the 2023-2024 cohort of Obama Foundation Scholars. Learn more, nominate, and apply by January 19.
- Human Rights Essay Contest. The Institute for the Study of Human Rights welcomes submissions to its Human Rights Essay Contest. Two $700 prizes will be awarded to graduate students and two $400 prizes will be awarded to undergraduates. Learn more and submit by January 20.

In honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, CUIMC's Jewish Cultural Employee Resource Group and the CUIMC Human Resources department invite you to hear stories of Holocaust survivors from StoryFile.
