Community Connections BBQ

Kick off the year with good food and a strong sense of community at the second annual Community Connections BBQ. This event creates a welcoming space where students of diverse backgrounds can come together, relax, and form lasting connections. 

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Delicious barbecue, exciting games, and a chill outdoor vibe
  • Opportunities to meet new peers and make connections across campus
  • Celebrating the diverse identities and experiences that make our community vibrant
  • Information about the Community Connections Series, which continues throughout the year

Registration will open on Septmber 2nd. Registration is required to attend. 

The event is part of Welcome Week, which is a series of events that are free and open to all students.

This event is part of The Graduate Initiative for Inclusion and Engagement and was designed with the needs of students from backgrounds historically facing barriers to higher education in mind, including BIPOC and first-generation students. All students are welcome.
