Join fellow students in this peer-led conversation to reflect on what it means to learn within the leadership, organizations, and structures of Columbia University, especially amid its recent controversies. As each of us encounters a unique community within our different academic programs, areas of residency in New York, or whatever else it may be, we are united by similar experiences as Columbia students and its ways of knowing the world around us. How should we engage with our careers, classes, families, and politics through this identity as a Columbia student? How might we become more conscious of the outcomes of being in this space of privilege? How can criticisms against our university be productive?
This program is part of University Life's Campus Conversations program which is a designed to bring students together across differences through dialogue led by their peers. These conversations are selected and facilitated by graduate students across Columbia's graduate and professional schools. All students are welcome to attend.
Registration is required, but walk-ins will be admitted as space allows. CUID holders only.
