Welcome to the Spring 2019 semester! I look forward to seeing you around campus and invite you to the many great events and activities hosted by the Office of University Life including:

  • The University Life Events Council Welcome Back Events – Join us for a free screening of the Golden Globe winning film Bohemian Rhapsody on Tue, Jan. 29 @6pm and Speed Friending on Thu, Jan. 31 @5pm. Interested in joining the Events Council? Sign up here.
     
  • Community Citizenship Film Screening: Boy Erased – Wed Feb. 13 @6pm – See this critically acclaimed film and stay for an engaging panel discussion and Q&A with the author of the memoir Boy Erased, and Columbia faculty. Free. Miller Theater. 
     
  • Join Columbia’s Task Force on Inclusion and Belonging – Work with your peers to identify issues and develop strategies that address student experiences related to diversity, inclusion and belonging. Sign up to learn more
     
  • Winter Wellness Days @Columbia – Mon Feb. 11 - Fri Feb. 15 – Invest in your well-being and help build community! Choose from events like cardio fitness, a financial wellness workshop, a Paint the Night study break, or try out meditation and pet therapy. Are you in a student organization? You can apply for a mini-grant to host your own wellness event. Interested in leading and promoting events? Sign up here to become a Wellness Days Ambassador.
