- University Life Events Council Info Session. Enjoy planning events and meeting new people? Join the University Life Events Council! Attend an information session on Tuesday, 2/23, from 6-7 PM to learn more. Apply by Sunday, 2/28.
- Spring Forward: Rest and Renew Around the World. All Columbia students are invited to participate — from wherever you may be — over three weeks in our Slack channel. Join for adventures online and in your own backyard. All participating students will be entered to win gift cards, prizes, and more! 3/1 - 3/19. Register here.
- CU Film Showcase. Call for Student Films! The University Life Events Council wants to showcase short films created by students throughout the campus community. Want your film to be a part of this showcase? Apply by Sunday, 3/21!

- In Conversation with Historians Black History Month: Teaching Action & Justice. In this conversation, experts will discuss the ways in which teaching Black history has evolved over the years and how it shapes our cultural memory. Tuesday, 2/23, 4:00 PM. Register here.
- What Can a Biden Administration Do on Clean Energy? In this seminar, part of an ongoing series of student-only virtual conversations from the Center on Global Energy Policy at SIPA, two attorneys focused on the environment and climate change will discuss the options and pathways available to the Biden administration on clean energy. - Columbia World Projects Fireside Chat. During this conversation, Hillary Schrenell, Director, Project Development, will outline her role within Columbia World Projects, and her professional path to where she is now, along with candid career advice. Tuesday, 3/2, 4-4:45 PM. Register here.
- The Protest and The Recuperation: A Preview. The Forum is proud to partner with the Wallach Art Gallery to present a public preview of their Summer 2021 exhibition, The Protest and The Recuperation, curated by Director and Chief Curator Betti-Sue Hertz. The work on view, which includes an artist's video, a sculpture, and nine reproductions of works in the exhibition, is visible from the sidewalks along Broadway and W. 125th St. now through 4/4. - NYC Covid-19 Oral History, Narrative and Memory Archive volunteer opportunity. Since March 2020, the project team has conducted nearly 400 oral history sessions with New Yorkers from across the five boroughs. As the current phase of the project nears completion, the team seeks applications for volunteers interested in supporting the editing and analysis of our interview transcripts. Apply here!
