Upcoming Events & Opportunities
- Celebrate Pride with Columbia Alumni. June is Pride Month and there are many opportunities to celebrate including with the Columbia Alumni Association. Check out their roster of events in NYC and around the country. Learn more.
- Standing for Reason (In-Person). Join Religious Life for an exciting conversation with John Sexton, President Emeritus of NYU, as he discusses the challenges involved with engaging diverse viewpoints in our campus communities and his new book, Standing for Reason: The University in a Dogmatic Age. Wednesday, June 7, 1:15 - 2:15 PM. Register here.
- Sounds of Summer Fest (In-Person). Join the School of Professional Studies for this free lunchtime concert series. Giveaways and delicious snacks will also be available!
- Featuring Bandits on the Run: Thursday, June 8, 12:30-1:30 PM. Register here.
- Featuring Juice: Tuesday, June 20, 12:30-1:30 PM. Register here.
- Experience Columbia: A History of Graphic Novels (In-Person). Learn about the academic and global significance of comics and graphic novels with the School of Professional Studies and materials from the Rare Book and Manuscript Library. Friday, June 9, 5:30 - 6:30 PM. Register here.
- Pop-Up Concerts: loadbang (In-Person). Sit onstage in Miller Theatre for a concert featuring loadbang. Mingle with performers and fellow concertgoers after the show. Tuesday, June 13, 6:00 - 7:00 PM. Learn more.
- Situational Awareness Training (Virtual). Public Safety presents this training on Situational Awareness. Learn to be alert to potential threats to your health and safety and be cognizant of emergency exits and other paths to safety. Friday, June 16, 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Register here.

- Reminder: Update Your Voter Registration & Prepare for the NYC Primary. CU Engage encourages all students leaving campus for the Summer semester to update their voter registration to match any new or forthcoming addresses. You can visit ALLINtoVote.org/Register to update your information. And if you’re staying in NYC, don’t miss the City’s primary election on June 27 for local offices, including City Council. Saturday, June 17 is the last day to register as a voter, or to update your address, for the June primary. Register here.
- Columbia Shuttle Buses Are Now Running on Their Summer Schedule. Check the Columbia Transportation website and download the Passio Go! app for support navigating around and between campuses this summer. Learn more.
