- Black and Latinx Roundtable with Columbia Faculty. Join Columbia faculty members for a discussion on the experiences of being Black and Latinx in higher education. - Women's History Month Film Screening: Harriet. You’re invited to a virtual screening of Harriet - the story of abolitionist Harriet Tubman starring Cynthia Erivo, sponsored by The University Life Events Council. - Night at Butler: The School of Magic Virtual Escape Game. Join the University Life Events Council and Columbia Libraries for the third annual Night at Butler, virtual edition! In this online escape game, you work with your team to solve puzzles and decipher codes. Create a team with friends or join the fun as an individual and meet new friends. 3/20 - 3/27. Register here.
- CU Service Showcase. Join the University Life Events Council and Community Impact for a showcase of current and ongoing service projects in and around the University community. - Apartment-Friendly Fitness Class. Get moving with a fun virtual apartment-friendly fitness class, led by PEREC instructor Elise! - Columbia Climate Conversations: Small Island Sustainability. This conversation will dive deep into Caribbean climate activism and help empower our students and faculty to mobilize around climate change issues. Thursday, 3/18, 6:00-7:00 PM. Register here.
- Reproductive Justice: In conversation with Loretta Ross. Activist, public intellectual, and scholar Loretta Ross speaks on the origins, contours & future of the reproductive justice movement. Thursday, 3/18, 6:00-8:00 PM. Register here.

- In Conversation with Historians: Women’s History Around the World. In this event from the Department of History, panelists will discuss women’s struggles and achievements past and present, and ways in which we can empower women within the University and beyond. Learn about the diversity of careers, research, and practice being done on the topic of food research across Columbia schools through an interdisciplinary lens in this panel from the Columbia Food Justice Initiative. Commencement Shout Outs
Commencement is right around the corner! Whether you're graduating or watching a friend graduate, we’re collecting stories of the people who have made your time at Columbia meaningful. Send us videos that are 15 seconds or less, filmed vertically on your phone or computer. Submit your story by March 26th for consideration. Select videos will be used in this Spring's commencement ceremony!
