Join The Graduate Initiative for a Women Who Lead Faculty Roundtable designed to foster connection and conversation between graduate students and faculty, in celebration of Women’s History Month. This year’s theme focuses on identity, roles, and well-being across life and work.
Hosted in collaboration with the International Student and Scholars Office (ISSO) and the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), this peer-style roundtable will feature small-group discussions with insights from:
- Dr. Carmela Alcántara, Associate Professor, School of Social Work
- Dr. Ashli Carter, Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Management in the Faculty of Business, Columbia Business School
- Dr. Jasmine McDonald, Associate Professor of Epidemiology, Mailman School of Public Health
- Dr. Rumela Sen, Lecturer in the Discipline of International and Public Affairs; Director of the Master of International Affairs, School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA)
Registration is required, but walk-ins will be admitted as space allows. CUID holders only.
The Graduate Initiative for Inclusion and Engagement supports graduate and professional students through programs designed to reflect a wide range of lived experiences and perspectives. Designed with the needs of students who may have overcome barriers to higher education in mind, the initiative creates spaces for connection, learning, and growth. All students are welcome.
