Graduate Initiative APIDA Faculty Roundtable

University Life, in partnership with the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement, will host a discussion with faculty members on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. For this roundtable, faculty will share their experiences navigating their identities as members of the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) community. Open to all CUID holders. RSVP is required, please register here

The discussion will feature:

  • Bert Huang, Michael I. Sovern Professor of Law
  • Erwin de Leon, Lecturer in the Discipline of Nonprofit Management Program
  • Vidhu Thaker, Assistant Professor in Pediatrics
  • Yiping W. Han, Professor of Microbial Sciences in Dental Medicine and Microbiology & Immunology

This discussion will be moderated by Adina Berrios Brooks, Associate Provost for Inclusive Faculty Pathways in the Office of the Provost. The Diversity Roundtable Series is an opportunity for students and faculty to have meaningful conversations through roundtable discussions on critical student life issues affecting marginalized communities. Although this series was developed with Graduate students in mind, all are welcome to join!
