Whether you’re preparing for graduation or continuing your graduate journey, you’re invited to join University Life’s Graduate Initiative for Grad Networking: Brewing Connections.
This evening mixer is designed to help you meet new people and make connections without the pressure. Hosted in partnership with the Columbia Alumni Association (CAA), the SIPA Black Student Union, and the Association of Black Social Workers, this event brings together graduate students and alumni in a relaxed cafe-style setting. No panels, no pressure — just good conversation and a chance to grow your network.
What to Expect:
- Meet fellow graduate students and alumni while expanding your network
- Enjoy a cafe-style mixer where making connections feels natural and approachable
- Engage with the CAA and explore ways to stay connected beyond graduate school

Registration is required, but walk-ins will be admitted as space allows. CUID holders only.
The Graduate Initiative for Inclusion and Engagement supports graduate and professional students through programs designed to reflect a wide range of lived experiences and perspectives. Designed with the needs of students who may have overcome barriers to higher education in mind, the initiative creates spaces for connection, learning, and growth. All students are welcome.
