Get ROARING for little lions! Bring comfort and joy to children in our community by joining University Life’s Grad Hangout: Build A Lion for Little Lions, from the Graduate Initiative.
Get ready for a lighthearted, hands‑on experience that blends Columbia school spirit with community care. Meet fellow graduate students, fuel your creativity, and build your own Roaree-inspired lion to be donated to children at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Come unwind, connect, and give back by creating stuffed lions for the “little lions” in our community.
Note: All lions are for donation, but if extras are available, students are welcome to assemble an additional lion to keep.
Registration is required, but walk-ins will be admitted as space allows. CUID holders only.
The Graduate Initiative for Inclusion and Engagement supports graduate and professional students through programs designed to reflect a wide range of lived experiences and perspectives. Designed with the needs of students who may have overcome barriers to higher education in mind, the initiative creates spaces for connection, learning, and growth. All students are welcome.
