Community Connections: Letter to My Future Self (BHM Celebration)

February 4, 2026
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
America/New_York
Earl Hall, 2980 Broadway, New York, NY 10027 Schiff Room

Join us for Letter to My Future Self: Celebrating BIPOC Voices, a Community Connections event from The Graduate Initiative! This is an opportunity to gather in a contemplative and creative space with fellow students to pause, think ahead, and write a personal letter to your future self.

Through a guided letter-writing activity, you’ll craft a meaningful message that captures your lived experience, identity, and the personal and professional aspirations you’re working toward. At the end of the session, you’ll seal your letter and choose a future moment to read and rediscover your intentions.

This is a supportive environment that offers room for deep connection, conversation, and reflection. We hope to see you there!

This event is part of The Graduate Initiative for Inclusion and Engagement and was designed with the needs of students from backgrounds historically facing barriers to higher education in mind, including BIPOC and first-generation students. All students are welcome.

Registration needed, CUID required.
