Columbia Serves: Fort Tryon Park Cleanup

Join University Life and the Fort Tryon Park volunteer organization for a morning spent giving back to the community. Help keep this beloved space beautiful through an organized clean-up, and enjoy a meal together after a job well done! 

Details to keep in mind

  • Where Should I Meet ULife? Fort Tryon Park at the Broadway and Arden entrance
  • What’s Included? Cleanup supplies, a picnic with dietary restrictions* in mind, and good company
  • What Should I Wear? Comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty
  • What Should I Bring? Water, sunscreen, and a hat are recommended for this program
  • Anything else I should know? This event involves physical activity, including climbing steps

This event is part of Welcome Week, which is a series of events designed to welcome new and returning students to campus that are free and open to all students.

The Columbia Serves series invites students to make a positive impact through meaningful service opportunities both on and off campus. Through hands-on experiences, students will explore issues they care about while turning their values into action.

Registration is required; CUID holders only.

*Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available for the picnic portion of the clean-up.
