Arts in New York: MoMA Scavenger Hunt

September 11, 2026
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
America/New_York
Kent Hall, 1140 Amsterdam Ave., New York, NY 10027 201

Explore The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) with University Life!

As one of New York City’s iconic cultural institutions, the MoMA offers visitors a fresh look at some of the world’s most influential contemporary and modern art. Together we’ll explore these pieces through an interactive scavenger hunt and discover new favorites and friendships along the way.

We will start our journey with a few ice-breaker activities on the Morningside campus, and then head to the museum. Whether you’re new to the city or looking to make new connections, this event is a great opportunity to explore and create lasting memories ahead of the semester.

This event is part of Welcome Week, which is a series of free events designed to welcome all new and returning students to campus.

The Arts in New York series invites students to explore New York City's vibrant arts and cultural landscape while making new connections through shared performances, museums, exhibitions, and other creative adventures.

*Students should plan to meet staff at Kent Hall (Room 201) on the Morningside Campus. We will travel downtown together via the MTA subway. Please note we are unable to cover transportation fares.

Registration is required, CUID holders only. If you are added to the waitlist, University Life will email you if a spot becomes available.
