Visualizing Science Symposium: The Impact of Art on Science

This interdisciplinary event is set to explore the evolving relationship between the scientific and artistic communities, highlighting the profound and symbiotic connection that has flourished over centuries and continues to transform with the advent of AI technologies.

The symposium will include three sessions titled "Art Meets Science," "Visualizing Medicine," and "Pushing Boundaries," followed by a panel discussion on "Navigating the Future: Art, Science, and AI." The one-day event will end with a networking reception accompanied by an exhibition viewing of works related to the symposium’s themes, offering further opportunities for discussion and connection. 

The symposium warmly welcomes Columbia faculty, staff, postdocs, and students, and the public, promising a day filled with learning, inspiration, and unparalleled opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. Attendance is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis, contingent upon registration.
