Step into the stories that have shaped New York City! Join us at the Museum of the City of New York to dive into exhibits on cultural movements, trailblazing change-makers, and iconic artistry that define the city.

University Life staff will be on hand to help guide thoughtful conversations as you explore the exhibits, helping you uncover new perspectives, learn about the people and movements that have shaped the city, and connect with the rich histories that make New York City such a dynamic and vibrant place.

Come ready to explore, learn, and see the city through fresh eyes!

This program is a part of the Community Citizenship Initiative (CCI) and is designed for first semester students who want to broaden their knowledge about the history of social movements that have shaped New York City. Students attending this workshop will receive credit for CCI and will have their requirement considered complete.
