About the Panelists
Liz Ann Sonders is a Managing Director and Chief Investment Strategist at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. She has a range of investment strategy responsibilities spanning from market and economic analysis to investor education, all focused on the individual investor. She is a regular contributor to Schwab’s publications and videos, and the keynote speaker at many of the company’s corporate and client events, as well as outside conferences. Liz Ann is a regular guest on Bloomberg TV & Radio, CNBC, CNN, CBS News, TDA Network, Yahoo! Finance and Fox Business News, and is regularly quoted in many financial publications. Liz Ann earned a B.A. in economics and political science from the University of Delaware and a M.B.A. in finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business.
Philipp Hecker is the Chief Executive Officer of Bento Engine, a FinTech at the intersection of technology and wealth management advice and a member of the Advisory Council for Columbia University's Wealth Management master's program. Prior to founding Bento Engine, Philipp spent 20 years focusing on defining and implementing growth strategies in the wealth and asset management industries at J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank and the Boston Consulting Group in New York. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Diploma from the University of Passau, Germany.
