Virtual Beginner's Pilates

Join us for a virtual beginner level Pilates class on Zoom, taught remotely by one of our Columbia Physical Education and Recreation instructors! The classes include a variety of bodyweight exercises to improve cardiovascular and strength fitness, and will focus on functional strength, core strength and posture. We suggest that you use a yoga mat for comfort while you perform these exercises. Columbia Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education offers fitness and wellness content designed for recreational purposes only. If you have any questions or concerns about your health or ability to participate safely, you should consult with a physician or health care professional. Participation is at your own risk. Columbia Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education assume no responsibility for any injury or illness incurred while participating. You should consult your physician or health care professional before starting any fitness program. If you experience any dizziness, nausea, pain or shortness of breath while exercising, please stop immediately and seek medical attention. RSVP is required. After you complete your registration, you'll receive a confirmation email containing the waiver liability link. One the day of the event, you will receive a password and instructions for how to join.
