Are you a grad student balancing academia, self worth, future goals, and work/life balance? Come chat with like-minded grad students to build community and normalize grad school struggles! Graduate school is a time of immense growth, both personally and professionally. It can be a beautiful and scary time as we exit the structure and security of school and enter the world. With the intense work pace of graduate school, especially at an academically rigorous institute like Columbia University, it can be hard to acknowledge these struggles. This conversation is an open space for students to share any anxieties about the future and discuss how we can prepare ourselves to face them.
This program is part of University Life's Campus Conversations program which is a designed to bring students together across differences through dialogue led by their peers. These conversations are selected and facilitated by graduate students across Columbia's graduate and professional schools. All students are welcome to attend.
Registration is required, but walk-ins will be admitted as space allows. CUID holders only.
