The Summer RECV program held at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing introduces students to research at an early stage in their careers with a goal of inspiring them to see that research can be an exciting and fulfilling career.
This year, we will hold the RECV program from June 6, 2022 through August 12, 2022. All undergraduate and masters’ level students are invited to apply to this full-time (35 hours/week) program. Selected students will receive a stipend for their participation.
Participants in this year’s RECV summer research experience will attend weekly seminars and work with investigators on a variety of research topics. The 2022 RECV program focuses on cardiovascular conditions and related topics including health disparities, ethics, genomics, clinical research and evidence-based practice. Students have an opportunity to participate in innovative "hands-on" research experiences and participate in writing groups that will develop peer-reviewed publications. At the end of the program, students present their projects at 2022 RECV Research Day.
