Board members, Staff and Student Volunteers have been busy planning a special event called Sharing Our Stories - An Evening to Benefit Community Impact, where you will learn about the wonderful work CI is doing to support the residents of Upper Manhattan. Community Impact’s most vital fundraising event of the year, Sharing Our Stories promises to be an engaging, entertaining and moving evening for hundreds of supporters as we lift up our honorees, student volunteers, and program participants. Proceeds will help ensure that Community Impact remains a robust community service organization on campus and a vital resource for our neighbors who are disproportionately affected by both COVID-19 and long-term, systemic racial injustice.

Housed on Columbia University’s Morningside Campus since 1981, Community Impact is the largest student volunteer service organization on campus. Our work is driven by the tireless dedication of 900 Columbia and Barnard students. Last year, volunteers logged more than 50,000 hours serving more than 9,000 low-income residents across 28 youth, adult, and emergency services programs. This event is hosted by Community Impact at Columbia University. Learn more about the programs and volunteer opportunities at https://www.communityimpact.columbia.edu/
