Led by Columbia’s Title IX Coordinator Marjy Fisher, this panel discussion will reexamine media depictions of romantic tropes and how they may potentially influence relationship expectations and norms.

Panelists will include:

  • Dr. Brett Gary (he/him), Associate Professor of Media, Culture, and Communication, New York University 
  • Dr. Geraldine Downey (she/her), Robert Johnston Niven Professor of Humane Letters in Psychology, Columbia University
