Religious Diversity Workshop: An Introduction to Communities of Faith and Spirituality at Columbia

This workshop offers an introduction to spiritual and religious diversity at Columbia. Through interactions with faith leaders and other students, we will work toward increasing interreligious understanding. Get to know other students, learn about religion on campus and in NYC, and take a step toward being an ally to those who come from different faith backgrounds. The workshop will cover topics such as the importance of religious diversity, strategies for building interfaith relationships, and how to address religious discrimination and bias. It will also feature interactive activities and discussions to help students learn from each other's experiences and perspectives.

Students of any, all, and no faith tradition are invited to attend. Lunch will be provided.

First-year/new students attending this workshop will receive credit toward the Inclusion & Belonging Component of the Community Citizenship Initiative (CCI). Please sign in to ensure you get credit for this workshop. Any questions about CCI can be addressed by emailing [email protected].

Please register to attend.  We hope you can join us!
