Join Columbia University’s global community for the 19th Annual 5K Fun Run, Virtual Edition, a tradition since President Bollinger's inaugural festivities in 2002.
How to participate:
- Run or walk your 5K
- Use the Fun Run Instagram filter and tag @columbia #ColumbiaFunRun
- Submit your results for your chance to receive a giveaway
- Proudly represent Columbia, worldwide
All registrants will have 3 days to complete the 5K distance from Friday, October 23 to Sunday, October 25.

Submit Your Results:
Once complete, submit your results from Friday, October 23 at 10:00 a.m. (EDT) to Monday, October 26 at 10:00 a.m. (EDT).
Who Can Participate?
All current Columbia students, faculty, staff, and alumni of all abilities. All registrants should complete their route in a safe manner, following the Columbia Community Health Compact guidelines and keeping a safe distance from others.
Register online and submit a waiver and release form to participate.
The first 1,000 current students, faculty, and staff to submit their results will receive a Fun Run branded t-shirt. Be one of the first 200 submissions to receive bonus giveaways.
