Petal Therapy: Unplug & Bloom

May 1, 2026
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
America/New_York
Kent Hall, 1140 Amsterdam Ave., New York, NY 10027 201

Take a much needed pause from studying and screens to reconnect with yourself and relax at Petal Therapy: Unplug & Bloom.

At the start of the event, you’ll receive a check-in card to reflect on your current screen use and explore ways to move through the rest of the semester and your summer with fewer digital distractions. To help get you grounded, there will be a range of analog activities, including:

  • Bouquet making with fresh flowers
  • Enjoying a compliment and giving one to others on our “Compliment Wall”
  • Coloring, puzzling, and reflective writing to help you unwind
  • Snacking on light refreshments while you relax and connect

This event is designed as a “Digital-Detox” experience,  a phone-free space where you can chat with others or simply practice mindfulness with a few handy resources. Get grounded, find inspiration, and soak up a few hours of screen-free connection with others.

All students are welcome. Entry is available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last and until we reach capacity.

Registration is encouraged, but not required. Please bring your CUID.
