Join us for a lecture exploring how Orientalism is not just prejudice of West against East but that it functions at a deep structural level and stems from an epistemology that constituted the Enlightenment itself. It argues furthermore that, present in all our systems of modern life, Orientalism is philosophically and materially anti-human.
