Honor those who paved the way this LGBTQIA+ History Month with a meaningful opportunity to support LGBTQIA+ elders in our community. In partnership with SAGE, an organization that advocates for and provides services to LGBTQIA+ elders in the Bronx and Brooklyn, we invite you to write letters of appreciation to these community members.
During the event, you’ll have the chance to:
- Learn about the history of LGBTQ+ activism in New York City
- Reflect on the impact of advocacy and resilience in shaping today’s LGBTQIA+ communities
- Write a personal letter of thanks to celebrate the contributions of these community members
This is a meaningful way to connect with history, recognize the work of LGBTQIA+ elders, and support their ongoing contributions to our communities.
CUID required.
