The Leading and Engaging in Society workshop invites you to reflect on your impact as a global citizen and an agent of positive social change. Because leadership touches every area of life, whether personal, professional, or societal, this session will specifically look at ways to help you strengthen your skills in empathy, collaboration, and community engagement.

In this session, you will:

  • Explore how to create meaningful and sustainable change
  • Reflect on your personal values and leadership style
  • Discover ways to foster respectful dialogue and community engagement

This session is a part of the Community Citizenship Initiative (CCI) and is designed for first semester students who want to develop conflict resolution skills grounded in care and respect. Students attending this workshop will receive credit for CCI and will have their requirement considered complete.

Registration needed, CUID required.
