IKNS Conversations That Matter

October 20, 2021
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
America/New_York
Online Event

In the 10 years since the initial launch of the IKNS program at Columbia University, we have seen a remarkable expansion of the knowledge-driven economy and a continual evolution in how organizations capitalize on knowledge and networks. From the ever changing dynamics of remote work to the growing importance of dialogue between companies and their customers, the strategic importance of how enterprises and economies value knowledge has never been more salient.

Join Columbia University’s MS in Information and Knowledge Strategy (IKNS) program on October 20th at 6pm ET for an intimate discussion between renowned author and thought leader Tom Stewart and Nancy Dixon, PhD, celebrated KM consultant, Lecturer in the IKNS program, and a long time colleague of Tom’s. Through conversation, the two will explore how knowledge management has changed over the last decade and where they see it headed in the future.

Following the conversation, the event will be opened for a question and answer period, where attendees can ask questions directly.

Topics of discussion include:

  • How knowledge management has changed over the last 10 years and what can we expect for the future.
  • The evolving dynamics of remote and hybrid work and its implications on today’s knowledge workers.
  • The growing importance of company-customer dialogue and co-creation in the knowledge services industry.
