Help keep our neighbors warm this winter! The Columbia Community Service 2025 Coat & Hoodie Drive will run from Monday, November 10 through Friday, December 19 and will help meet an increased need in our local community for warm winter apparel.
Donate new or gently used coats, hoodies, socks, or undershirts at the following drop-off locations:
- Barnard College: 010 Milbank
- Columbia Law School: WJW 4th floor Student Lounge (1125 Amsterdam Ave)
- Dodge Fitness Center: To the right after turnstiles
- Journalism School: Lobby
- Lee C. Bollinger Forum: Ground Floor
- Public Safety: Room 111, Low Library & 3270 Broadway
- School of Engineering and Applied Science: Mudd - 4th floor campus entrance, 5th floor lobby & Interchurch Suite 850
- School of Social Work: The lobby on the first floor
- Studebaker: Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth floors only

Columbia Community Service supports nonprofit organizations through the generosity of faculty, staff, and retirees of Columbia, Barnard, and Teachers College. With funds raised from the Annual Appeal campaign, CCS provides grants to programs in Harlem and Morningside Heights that combat hunger, provide social services, support the arts, and offer educational enrichment for youth in STEM, arts, and literacy.
For nearly 80 years, 100 percent of these donations have been provided directly to our community partners and neighbors in need. In addition, CCS facilitates in-kind contributions, volunteer opportunities, and workshops that connect our University community to grantees. Donate to the 79th Annual Appeal today.
