Black and Latinx Roundtable with Columbia Faculty

University Life, in partnership with the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement, invites you to join us for the Black and Latinx Roundtable with Columbia Faculty on Tuesday, February 27 at 5:00 p.m. For this roundtable, faculty will share their experiences navigating higher education as Black and Latinx-identified college students and professionals.

The roundtable will be moderated by Adina Berrios Brooks, Associate Provost for Faculty Diversity and Inclusive Pathways, and our amazing panelists include:

  • Nina Alvarez, CBS Assistant Professor of International Journalism
  • Billy Caceres, Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing, CUMC
  • Frank A. Guridy, Dr. Kenneth and Kareitha Forde Professor of African American and African Diaspora Studies
  • Jasmine A. McDonald, Assistant Professor of Epidemiology

This program was designed with the needs of students from historically marginalized communities, including BIPOC and first-generation students, in mind. All students are welcome.
