As we approach the new academic year, we have an opportunity to make a positive impact on our local community. The 10th Annual Back-2-School event, hosted by the NYPD 26th Precinct Community Affairs and Manhattan Community Board 9, is coming up on August 28th, and we're asking for your help to ensure local students have the supplies they need to succeed.

How Can I Help?

Columbia Community Service, Facilities and Operations' Construction Business Initiative unit, and Public Safety are proudly collecting donations of essential school supplies, including:

  • Books
  • Pens and pencils
  • Rulers
  • Crayons
  • Notebooks
  • Backpacks
  • Calculators
  • Binders
  • Folders

Your contributions will directly benefit students in our neighborhood, helping them start the school year prepared and confident.

When Can I Donate?

Donations are being accepted from August 5 to August 26.
