Jesse Adamo Grimes (she/her)

Jesse Adamo Grimes is the Associate Vice President of Administration & Operations in the office of University Life. Jesse  provides guidance and supervision to the office’s human resources, administration, finance, facilities, operations and events teams. Prior to joining Columbia in 2016, Jesse was in leadership roles at UC Berkeley and St. John’s University where she led strategic planning initiatives and managed affairs for the Board of Trustees and Board of Governors. She also held positions at NYU School of Law and the University of San Francisco, working on large-scale projects for student affairs.

Jesse holds an M.S. in Applied Analytics from Columbia University, an M.A. in Sociology and a B.A. in Psychology, both from St. John’s University in New York.

In her downtime, Jesse enjoys creating visual art, watching NBA games with her family, and discovering local cuisine in far-away places.
