Greg Nelson

Greg Nelson is a Program Manager for Student Advising, working closely with our Interschool Governing Board (IGB) clubs and bringing with him a deep commitment to student care, inclusion, and community building.

Greg previously served in student support roles at Columbia’s School of Professional Studies and the Center for Student Success and Intervention, and as a CARES Responder at Barnard College. He also brings public health experience from NYC Health & Hospitals, where he focused on health equity and outreach. A proud Harlem native and Lehman College alumnus, Greg is passionate about mental health, wellness, equity, and student empowerment. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling through the city and being a proud and present father. His personal mantra—“Keep learning, keep growing, and always live my truth”—reflects the energy and perspective he brings to our team.
