Ethan Chiampas (he/him)

Ethan Chiampas (he/him) joins University Life as the Associate Director for Delegate Management. In this role, Ethan supports the University’s implementation of the Rules of University Conduct by overseeing the University Delegate program, leading training and outreach efforts, and serving as a key partner in the planning and response to campus events and demonstrations.

Ethan previously served as Program Coordinator at The Workplace Center within the Columbia School of Social Work (CSSW), where he supported initiatives focused on economic justice and youth development. He brings experience in mental health care and educational settings, along with a strong commitment to student-centered work within complex institutional environments.

Ethan earned his Master of Social Work from CSSW, concentrating in Leadership, Management, and Entrepreneurship for Social Justice. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Double Bass Performance from the Eastman School of Music.

Outside of work, Ethan enjoys exploring Central Park with his dog, playing upright bass, and planning his next backcountry hiking trip.
