Dear Students,

We write to share important information about the November 7th general election. 

We invite you to visit CU Engage for information about voting and other ways to get involved. If you’re eligible to vote, we urge you to register now, if you haven’t already.

How to Vote in NYC:

• Not registered yet? Saturday, October 28th is the deadline for New York residents to register  – register online or by mail. Get info about requesting an absentee ballot.
• Columbia University is proud to serve as an Early Voting and Election Day polling site. 
  • Find your assigned early voting location here.
  • Visit vote.nyc for more information on voting times and locations in New York City. 
• Learn about local candidates from Who’s On the Ballot, a project of Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs.

How to Vote in Another State Where You Have Residence:

• Visit All in to Vote to register to vote or request an absentee ballot.
• Find information about voting and contests in all 50 states at Project Vote Smart and at vote.columbia.edu.
