Join the University Life Events Council for their Day of Service event! In partnership with Free Minds Book Club & Writing Workshop, gather to read and offer feedback on writings and poems written by incarcerated and formerly incarcerated youths and adults to motivate and support individuals in their pursuit of a new chapter. Please bring a laptop or phone to join a zoom call during the event, where we will be joined by Free Minds and their Poet Ambassadors to learn and ask questions about their experiences.

Partnering with the Free Minds Book Club & Writing Workshop, a non-profit organization that uses the transformative tools of books, writing, and peacebuilding to create a community of support, assisting incarcerated and formerly incarcerated youths and adults to achieve their education, career, and life goals, write new chapters in their lives, and become powerful voices for change.
